Snarky stuff about Ted Cruz’s “corner guy”

In an article to which I linked (HERE) the other day, there’s this item about Ted Cruz:

“As a law student at Harvard, he refused to study with anyone who hadn’t been an undergrad at Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. Says Damon Watson, one of Cruz’s law-school roommates: ‘He said he didn’t want anybody from ‘minor Ivies’ like Penn or Brown.'”

Such arrogance begs the question of exactly who is Cruz’s legal counsel — or so-called corner guy — sitting next to him [above] during his pseudo-filibuster in the U.S. Senate. More to the point, how do the corner guy’s academic credentials stack up when compared to Cruz’s persnickety standards for study-mates at Harvard Law School?

The answer can be found in THIS WONDERFUL PHOTO FOLIO on the corner guy.

  1. I found this article about why Cruz doesn’t get his healthcare insurance through the Senate Govt paid for plan. It’s because his wife works as a big shot at Goldman Sachs and gets an even better plan than our politicians get that we pay for with our tax dollars.

Why do Tea Party people think this Cruz guy represents their interest. He’s an elitist just like many of the politicians in both parties these days. Many if not all of our elected reps have spouses, siblings, children who work in the very industries they are charged with creating legislation over. We have the same recently revealed revelation in one of our democratic party reps, in the state I live in, where his wife works in a capacity at an private corporation that could benefit from the very legislation her husband presents for approval. Of course he said he would never error in a way that wasn’t good for the people. yeah, right. It’s odd how we just found out about his wife’s position even though he’s been basically a career politicians starting out in city govt and now at the federal level. It’s like that everywhere in our country. Husband and wife teams abound everywhere in our political system. Look at Mitch McConnel and who he is married to. If you want to take this one step further, look at the cozy relationship that many of the media companies and their supposed tv show host have with the very politicians they are supposed to put on the hot seat. These men and woman in the media are just as corrupted by big money as the politicians they are supposed to be overseeing and keeping in line with tough questions. And then they wonder why people think of them as nothing but corporate whores.

Are our politicians in place to do good for the people or more so for themselves and their buds. Our system of govt has become polluted by big monied interest and the people who would clean up such untidy relationships are the very ones that are benefiting from it. They aren’t going to bring honor and integrity back to government. That would mean they would have to be more like the common people they want us to believe they represent.

And still I will see people on blogs like this claim that at least their party is better. Both parties are corrupted equally and all people do is bicker with each other rather than unite against the corrupted forces that have taken over our govt.
