Which fast-food chain leans Republican? Which cosmetics firm leans Democratic?

As the chief cook and bottle-washer here at Applesauce World Headquarters, I’m what you might call a political junkie — but that distinction has its limits.

I try not to let politics rule every aspect of my life. I don’t, for example, base all my purchases on the presumed political leanings of the companies peddling the goods and services for which I’m shopping.

But some people do. And for them, we offer THIS LINK to a handy dandy guide to the political leanings of hundreds of major companies.

Example: McDonald’s is said to lean Republican, while Wendy’s reportedly tilts to the Democratic side.

Happy shopping!

On a similar note, I know Pat doesn’t drink, but for those of us that enjoy an occasional adult beverage, the Post has a handy chart about what your favorite drink says about your politics.

As for me, I usually have a bottle Stoli on shelf which takes me about 6 months to finish off…so I guess that makes me lean Democratic. >sigh<

  2. Neftali: I’m not a complete teetotaler, but I imbibe only sparingly. I drink as much in a year anymore as I used to in a week.
