For the first time since the launch of Applesauce 11 months ago, I didn’t post anything yesterday. I’ve caught a bug of some kind and consequently will be laid low for a few days.
Yeah, I know, you’re wondering where you can turn for truthiness during this crisis. Hey, that’s your problem, not mine. My head remains full of wisdom; I’m just unable, under the circumstances, to share much of it with you.
My greatest regret is that this illness delays my full participation in the War on Christmas, which I had been eagerly anticipating as a means of annoying Bill O’Reilly and Lou Dobbs. Oh, well.
Meanwhile, consider this post an open thread on which you can vent about anything that’s on your mind.
One more thing: No flowers, please. I hate flowers. They’re unmanly.

Blogging here will be intermittent today, as I’ve lots of things to do that I’ve ignored in recent days.

One more thing: As soon as all the electoral votes are counted, I’ll compare the totals with the predictions some of you made here in the past week or so.
