Republican senator criticizes Obama for incessantly talking about the middle class
As I’ve said here on previous occasions, U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl (above), the Arizona Republican, has never been known as the sharpest knife in the drawer.
For example, when something Kyl said on the Senate floor a few years ago was shown to be blatantly inaccurate, his spokesman said the senator’s remark “was not intended to be a factual statement.”
Kyl has also blamed Barack Obama for the defeat of then-President George W. Bush’s immigration-reform legislation in 2007. In truth, Obama voted in favor of the measure while Kyl joined a Republican filibuster that killed it.

Arizona senator floats notion of impeaching Obama over immigration policies

One GOP senator fails to learn from another GOP senator’s embarrassing mistake
As the photo above would suggest, U.S. Senators Orrin Hatch and Jon Kyl are buddies of sorts.
They’re both conservative Republicans, and it can’t be said of either of them that this is their first time at the rodeo, politically speaking. They’ve been around.
Which makes it especially amazing that Hatch would publicly utter the same dumb misstatement that Kyl famously uttered last year.
