Alex Seitz-Wald wonders whether Barack Obama has suffered the equivalent of Lyndon Johnson’s CRONKITE MOMENT:
If President Obama has lost Jon Stewart, has he lost his base? It’s a question worth considering after “The Daily Show” host tore into the president Monday night for a series of scandals and controversies that seem to be piling up by the hour this week. In a shouty, expletive-laden segment, Stewart said the IRS scandal will be fodder to the right-wing conspiracy theories he’s been battling for years and that it single-handedly ”shifted the burden of proof from the tin foil-behatted to the government.”…

Andrew Kirell paraphrases Donald Trump’s tweet THUSLY:
I am smarter than Jon Stewart will ever be because he is so stupid and because his real name is not even Jon Stewart. It’s something much more Jewish-y. So, ha! Also: he is overrated.
Political satirist Jon Stewart did a masterful job last night skewering Fox News Channel for its blatant hypocrisy regarding the issue of gun violence in America.
There’s an eight-minute video of Stewart’s bit HERE….
Yesterday, I shared with you THIS FUNNY VIDEO.
Today, I share with you THIS HILARIOUS STUFF (which includes some vulgar language and a don’t-miss-it video at the end of the piece):
Jon Stewart recapped all the big news from last night’s election, but saved his harshest criticisms for Fox News, Karl Rove, and in particular, five fateful minutes of the network in near-pandemonium after Ohio was called for President Obama that Stewart predicted would live on forever.
