Yep, you read that right, “Zhounielsenfraser.” That’s the name I made up for the combo team of the Zhou Brothers, Rick Nielsen and Donald Fraser, who’ll present June 13 the Divergent Minds live painting event by the Chinese abstract artists inspired by music by pop rocker Nielsen of Cheap Trick and classical composer and pianist Fraser.

It’s kind of like “Brangelina.”
Got other names for politicians, local celebrities, whomever who are joined at the whatever? Bring ‘em on.

To all: The Zhou Brothers show Friday night at the Coronado sure was interesting, unique, and an art-lover’s dream come true.
I thought it was worth the hype when I saw the “being,” what I’ve described as an Incredible-Hulkish, primitive thing, emerge.
After the show, one artist said she thought the being the artists created represented freedom.

Oh, a behind-the-scenes, or rather, an out-in-front-of-the-Coronado, tidbit: I saw the Zhou Brothers’ driver park directly across the street from the front of the Coronado. I was worried that it might be a no-parking zone. And there seemed to be confusion at the moment whether their car might be towed or not. So Art Museum staffers asked that the car be moved, and it was.
How embarrassing for Rockford if the world renowed artists would have had their vehicle ticketed.
