‘Odditorium,’ toilet-paper dresses and bare feet

Wow! To be able to make your claim to fame as being the woman from Rockford who won $1,000 by creating a wedding dress of toilet paper.
One of my odd claims is one that has gone unrecognized, and I’m sure I hold the title to it, at least in Hebron, where I grew up: When I was 15 years old, I went barefoot for two weeks, even though I had a part-time job cleaning hotel rooms at the time.
Want to share some of your claims to odd fame?

OK. I am not too proud to ask. Why, exactly, did you go barefoot for two weeks? and why, exactly, did you feel the need to share it with us?

2. First why? Because I could. Second why, because it’s an odd thing to do. Lawrence, ever do anything odd?

Lawrence, you seem perturbed. You’ve probably done some odd things in your life. We all have. Geo is just a bit odder than most. She has to be creative to be in her business.

Aww, thanks Lawrence for the kind (I think) words.

Sorry. I meant to thank you, Javan, for the kinda kind words.

Javan: Hell yes I am perturbed! Do you want her smelly germy feet traipsing all over your hotel room?
Geo: Odd? Yes. Go-straight-to-the-asylum-weird? No.
