Former Clinton staffers have been picked for Obama’s team, reportedly including Hillary for Secretary of State.
And the Obamas have chosen the school for their daughters, the same one that Chelsea Clinton went to.
Now if I hear that Barack starts shopping for shoes at the same place Bill did, I’m really going to start to wonder if the big changes Obama talked about during his campaign will be shortchanged by perceptions of the same-old.

The school my nephews attend was visited last week by the new First Family. My sister-in-law said it was quite the event with tons of overly obvious Secret Service agents wandering the halls. Everyone was quite excited but also aprehensive about the whole idea of the Obama girls going there. Retina scans to enter the building and background checks would just be the tip of the security iceberg.
I wrote her after the pick was made and asked it they were “The One”. As you can see by her response it’s more probable that the Biden grandchildren going to their pick (Sidwell Friends School) had more influence on the Obama’s choice than the idea of Chelsea Clinton being an alumnae.
Here’s my sister-in-law’s response:
” Nope, not us. We are **** ****. It really is a mixed blessing–having them would have been really good for the school, and a major pain in the tush for all of the parents. Having said that, we have Attorney General Eric Holder’s daughter, legal council to VP Biden’s kids, several senators, and many other muckety-mucks who don’t come with the security issues. Given that Biden’s grandchildren go to Sidwell, I hope it doesn’t increase the target interest of the school…the secret service must be going crazy!

Whatever security for him and his family is necessary. I fear for his life and fear even more that biden would become president–put joe and sarah in a bag and shake it up and nothing falls out.
