I see that a Rockford classroom will be featured at 8 a.m. Sunday morning on CBS Sunday Morning in a story about the Pennies for Peace campaign.

Being a news junkie who can’t turn off the news even on Sunday mornings, I’ve found a relaxing happy medium watching Charles Osgood introduce stories that are slower paced and often includes coverage that network news shows don’t delve into, especially for the arts.

Hurray! Four of us alternately write these weekly restaurant reviews, and I think this is a first for readers making comments in the comments section. Way to start the new year, folks. We’re always happy to have you share your thoughts. So keep those comments coming.
