Kelly Killoren Bensimon, a former Rockfordian and the newest housewife on Bravo’s reality TV show “The Real Housewives of New York City,” is denying charges that she punched her ex-boyfriend in the face last week, according to this AP story.

Bensimon has been charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault and is due in court March 31, according to this msnbc.com story.

 Cirque du Soleil’s “Saltimbanco” sold more than 15,000 tickets for its nine-show run at the MetroCentre Feb. 24 to March 1. MetroCentre officials were pleased with the show overall, a spokesman said.
