The River Key Subdivision’s S.S. River Key won first place in the Lighted Boat Parade Sept. 4 at On the Waterfront on the Rock River in downtown Rockford.
Those involved in lighting the pontoon boat were Mike and Pij Richter and grandchildren, Jill and Bill Callahan and Chuck and Jane Barber of the Rockford subdivision. Their boat beat out four other boats, and the group received $150.
