The matter of the snow removal. Our cties roads are totally being neglected by our offiicials. Come snow season are streets get neglected due to their inability to comprehend what is their actual job . This last snow is a prime example of their incompentence. It never fails to amaze me on each first snow fall the streets are NOT plowed or salted. properly. Then our officials want to waste money on a expensive so-called study. Here is a study for you from a average christian man for free. The job is simple. I have done it for over 20 years. The trucks are staged. the snow comes down. Plow and salt the streets, intersections, and alleys. If the streets, intersections, and alleys have snow and ice on/in them remove it. Right now there still is streets, intersections and alleys that have not been cleaned up and salted. Most people try to drive responsibly in the snow, and try to get the plows drivers room do do their job. However there is alot of city employees that have gotten a "I don't give a crap attitude", because I'm union. If they don't want to do their jobs properly and with some pride FIRE THEM. There is alot of unemployeed men and weman with families in this city alone that would jump at a chance to give their famlies a better christmas. They make a big deal out of bidding for removal; but we all know that these same officials (that have our best interest in mind) are going to give the contract to whomever has the most influence (money). These contracts should have been ironed out months ago. Now that it's in front of a judge;not just this contract but the corruption behind this dispute should be investigated. It's within his power to do so.

I love how our wonderful superintendent of schools, who is always "so concerned about our kids safety" doesn't think we needed to call off school today when every other district in the area, the colleges and many businesses have closed. When the state and local police are saying stay off the roads if possible and when the windchill by the time the kids would be home would be -7 is fine to send our kids out in, Instead the decision was made by the busdrivers, who GOD BLESS THEM, did not feel it was safe for our kids to be out on the roads. I am glad it is so obvious who really cares about our kids safety!! Just another example of how she is all talk and no action when it comes to keeping our children safe!

Pumpkin ginger beer might be appropriate for autumn. Both pumpkin beer and ginger beer have been successfully brewed, but probably not in combination. The sharpness could be achieved with the ginger allowing for a lighter touch of hops.
