The City of Belvidere is inviting the community to attend a special workshop to discuss how community development can help determine the future of Belvidere.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 21st at Belvidere High School, 1500 East Avenue in the Forum Room. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and the workshop will be from 9:00 .a.m..- 3:00 p.m. Cost is $10, including lunch and breakfast.
The workshop goals include:
- Better understanding of the forces and trends shaping the landscape of Belvidere.
- Discuss the future of Belvidere and the transformational possibilities through community development.
- Learn about community development strategies from neighboring community representatives
- Identify future opportunities
