SeaPerch: An underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV)
Students have built a submersible ROV from a complex kit, and compete with other area students through self-made posters of the engineering process they used, and by racing their ROVs through underwater obstacle courses.
FIRST Lego League: A robotics program completes game-like challenges
This is a robotics program designed to get children excited about science & technology, while teaching employment and life skills. They build & program an autonomous robot (using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robot set) to score points on a thematic playing surface, plus research and create an innovative solution to a problem as part of their project.
