Compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act Needed at RPS 205

Did you know many Rockford Public Schools buildings do not have the ramps, elevators, door hardware, parking and fixtures needed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act?

Did you know students in wheelchairs at Auburn need to go outside to get to the gym?

Did you know King has no ramp to its dining area and no elevator to its second floor?

Making our learning environments available to all students is critical to making our schools 21st Century Learning Environments.  That’s why you “Yes” vote for the RPS 205 Bond Referendum on November 6th is important.
