Good news for the region; the State-Line Robotics team #4655 received great news as of yesterday. We were awarded two grants to assist us as a rookie team this year.
The first grant was the NASA Program Growth grant that will pay for our team to attend the Milwaukee Regional in late March. The second grant is the In Youth We Trust from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois that will go towards purchasing supplies for the build season.
The team is currently having training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and the build season starts the first week of January.
You are always welcome to join us for the training sessions or any of the nights that we will be working for the build season.
Exciting news that brings the State-Line Robotics team along with Rockford Robotics, Boone County’s Flaming Monkeys and Winnabagos’ Winnovation teams into competition.
