I noticed this story that tells the data for student enrollment into the Academies. Of the 1,300 students at Jefferson, 260 signed up for the EMITT or Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology and Trades.
That’s 20% of the students going into these career paths, pretty close to the 21% of local employment in the manufacturing sector.
