RVC Community and Continuing Education Offering Welding for Beginners

Rock Valley College Community and Continuing Education is offering an eight-session Welding for Beginners course this fall at the Stenstrom Center for Career Education. The class is offered on Saturdays from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. beginning October 7 and running through December 2.

This hands-on course is designed for beginning welders as an introduction to welding and cutting, including theory, set-up and operation of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMA W/stick), MIG (wire), TIG (heli-arc), Plasma cutting, Oxyfuel cutting (OFC), and equipment and shop safety.
