Collaboration, retaining talent and encouraging start ups are on the menu tonight when members of the Rockford Area Economic Development Council gather for the group’s annual dinner meeting at Giovanni’s Restaurant and Convention Center, 610 N. Bell School Road, from 5-8 p.m.
The agency’s mission is creating wealth in the region by recruiting new employers and working with existing companies to create high-quality job opportunities here.
Janyce Fadden, president of RAEDC, will keynote the event, which will include an update on strategies and initiatives at an agency charged with shaping the region’s economic future.
