Bricks & Clicks
The Rockford Register Star is more than a newspaper: the ink on print or the “bricks” in the News Tower. We’re a multimedia news and information company: the “clicks” on our Web site and the TV clips on WREX-13. This blog explains our fast-changing media environment and interacts with our readers to show how and why we do what we do.

sadly, you can’t turn on the radio, tv or computer without knowing that our area is the center of the world with the top story of the niu shootings.

at the newseum, you can see how front pages around the country and around the world played the story.

The headline of Friday’s Rockford Registar Star moved me to tears. No. Not here.

My prayers go out to all those involved in Thursdays catastrophy. I have a 15yr old and is planning on visiting a college in july for a summer camp and I am concerned for her safety.

since we went to a new platform and web design in august, we no longer reproduce today’s front page.
frankly, our web site is less a reflection of today’s newspaper and more about what you need to know now.
while some folks miss this front page feature, we did not hear an uproar that it is no longer available.
    good question, dude.
