Bricks & Clicks
The Rockford Register Star is more than a newspaper: the ink on print or the “bricks” in the News Tower. We’re a multimedia news and information company: the “clicks” on our Web site and the TV clips on WREX-13. This blog explains our fast-changing media environment and interacts with our readers to show how and why we do what we do.

Keep up with area road repairs

March 27th, 2008 at 10:05am Anna Voelker

You may have noticed that each morning on rrstar.com we’ve posted updates on road work happening that day in the Rock River Valley. Included is an interactive map that shows the status of the work.

We tell you about pothole repairs, construction plans, road closures and so on.

We’ve put all that together on one page for you so you can easily keep up “Road Watch” items. Stay in the know so you can avoid road crews. And check out the map. It’s pretty cool.
