Bricks & Clicks
The Rockford Register Star is more than a newspaper: the ink on print or the “bricks” in the News Tower. We’re a multimedia news and information company: the “clicks” on our Web site and the TV clips on WREX-13. This blog explains our fast-changing media environment and interacts with our readers to show how and why we do what we do.

at the register star, like i just mentioned,  you can order a t-shirt with a photo on it.

but at cnn.com, you can order a t-shirt with a headline on it. though i learned that hackers got a little naughty on this app.

of course, the onion satirical newspaper offers funny headline t-shirts, too, like “area man.” click at your own risk, since we know how naughty they can be.

the hackers were naughty (by using curse words directed at other media). the onion can just be downright vulgar. maybe i was making too loose of a connection

I didn’t think anyone over the age of 8 used the word naughty anymore.
