Bricks & Clicks
The Rockford Register Star is more than a newspaper: the ink on print or the “bricks” in the News Tower. We’re a multimedia news and information company: the “clicks” on our Web site and the TV clips on WREX-13. This blog explains our fast-changing media environment and interacts with our readers to show how and why we do what we do.

the big story gets bigger

May 23rd, 2008 at 07:30am Jennie Pollock

as expected, the national media are starting to pick up on the story of rare triplets born in rockford this week.

on the web, fox gives credit to wrex-13, which broke the story before the babies were born, and rrstar.com. we also have wrex’s pre-birth video of kalie and josh kuhl’s effort to save their boys, who have the rare twin to twin to twin transfusion syndrome.

we’ll be covering the 10 a.m. news conference later today.
