My boss Linda Grist Cunningham asked readers that question a week ago. And the post is definitely getting people talking.
Bricks & Clicks
The Rockford Register Star is more than a newspaper: the ink on print or the “bricks” in the News Tower. We’re a multimedia news and information company: the “clicks” on our Web site and the TV clips on WREX-13. This blog explains our fast-changing media environment and interacts with our readers to show how and why we do what we do. |

We now on BusinessRockford.com have the same commenting system that’s on rrstar.com. The good news is if you are a regular commenter on rrstar.com, your username and password will work on BusinessRockford.com. To get started, go to any local story on the site and scroll to the bottom.

If you didn’t see the note in Sunday’s newspaper, we’ve resumed full distribution of What’s On TV.
You can find the week’s worth of TV listings wrapped around the comics, coupons and ad fliers.
Last month, the Register Star had started an “opt-in” program, meaning if you wanted the TV book you’d get it but if you didn’t, you wouldn’t. The goal was to cut costs, but demand in the market for the book was so great, this move did not end up saving money.
