Yes, the TV book is back

If you didn’t see the note in Sunday’s newspaper, we’ve resumed full distribution of What’s On TV.
You can find the week’s worth of TV listings wrapped around the comics, coupons and ad fliers.
Last month, the Register Star had started an “opt-in” program, meaning if you wanted the TV book you’d get it but if you didn’t, you wouldn’t. The goal was to cut costs, but demand in the market for the book was so great, this move did not end up saving money.

I’m sure it was a logistical nightmare for your carriers. But management never seems to consult the folks who actually have to impliment their decisions. They just rely on their supervisors. Supervisors who tend to blindly agree with any decision - brilliant or bonehead - that management enacts.
