No small ‘victory’

Rockford Woman is proud to announce that the Oct. 17 Victory Lap Brunch raised $10,867 in 2009.
That means we’ve donated more than $20,000 over three years to the American Cancer Society.
The event, which features pink champagne, delicious Cliffbreakers food and prizes, is held right after the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk across the river in Martin Park.
Thanks to the more than 600 people who attend as well as the committee that works all year, whether collecting shoes for centerpieces or lining up generous sponsors.
