Tuesday’s column says Jay Ferraro of East Moline should not be voting at Tuesday’s Forest Preserve Commission meeting. There’s a key vote coming up on suspending the deer culling program to build up the deer herd so that next year, hunters can fire away in the preserves. This is terrible management, but then, the Good Ol’ Boys under Chairman Randy Olson care not for scientific management of the preserves.
