That's sad. We lived in Southern CA for a few years and loved Del Taco. After we moved back to the Chicago area we actually drove 100 miles to this location. Luckily, one opened up about 10 miles from us in Oak Lawn, IL. I really hope it stays open.

I agree. Del Taco is a million times better than Taco Bell. Perhaps a poor location? They can't build them fast enough in St. Louis, yet there's only location in the entire Chicago area including suburbs. Don't get it.

Everything my husband and I like closes or is discontinued. We live 15 miles from the Del Taco, but we loved it so much we went anyway. Del Taco was a million times better than Taco Bell which we like. The ingredients were much better quality, there were interesting items on the menu. I guess everyone who lives around here is afraid of something new or different.
