What a shame-I loved this place. Where will we get gelato?

Lori - Agreed. Now I feel guilty for not going there more often. I thought this place held a lot of promise. And their gelato was awesome. very sad.

I am sad to see them close, but am not completely surprised. Their kitchen would close often an hour before their \"doors\" would close. After one time of getting turned away from spending money with them (for gelato, which is already prepared, unlike a paninni would need to be) due to it being too close to closing time, I should have learned my lesson, but it happened to me several times, sadly; I finally came to the conclusion that they did not want my money.

The reason they closed is that the owners split up. I was a weekly customer who never had bad service and the food was delicious. I think Jon’s experience was unusual.

What’s too bad was that it wasn’t very well marketed or advertised.
I drove past it on my way to do other things, but never stopped in to see what they offered. It, maybe, wasn’t the best location, either. Maybe a little too far out of the way to attract much attention, unless you were “cutting” down Bell School road.
After reading the above, I have to say, aside from Jon’s service disappointments, it sounded pretty good, really. But, I’m with Jon. Service is everything. The product needs to be good, too, but, how someone feels after spending their hard-earned money there matters. And, if Jon passed his experience on to me, personally, I probably wouldn’t have gone out of my way to try it.
I see things they way Jon seems to. I expect more than what I pay for, because, that’s what I give to my customers.
That’s why I don’t patronize Meg’s Daily Grind anymore. I’ve been mistreated by the owner. That just told me that she would rather Starbuck’s get my money. So, they have, for the past 7 years. Add up that lost profit……………..
