Carrie Muskat of mlb.com checks in with a story about Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly and his unique approach to hitting.
I saw the video with the story, and Lilly’s swing at the plate kind of reminded me of my short game on the links.
It isn’t a compliment for either of us.

Is this the same Carrie Muskat who used to cover major leauge baseball for tReggie Star?

Yes, it is. She covered the Cubs for the Register Star in the late 80s. She and I also worked together, with Dave French, at the Champaign-Urbana Morning Courier.
