A point of concern

With Colorado Rockies manager Clint Hurdle in charge of the NL squad at this year’s All-Star Game, I felt confident that this season, at least, the midsummer classic skipper would NOT keep Albert Pujols on the bench in an obvious pinch-hitting situation.

(Yeah, I’m talking to you, Tony La Russa.)

But now there is angst in my midst. I am forced to rely on Hurdle to lead the NL to an All-Star victory, giving the Senior Circuit home-field advantage in the World Series, and not force me to scramble to Boston for Game 1.

How can I have faith in a manager when he continues to bring in Manny Corpas to face the Cubs?
