Shades of the 1986 Bears-Oilers game when a touchdown run from Neal Anderson was interrupted by CBS News for a nuclear arms breakdown report from Reykjavik, Saturday’s Cubs-Dodgers game on Fox had to tolerate several weather bulletins from the WTVO Weather Center.
Impending nuclear doom is one thing, but, frankly, I’m already tired of the violent storms this spring. So keep breaking in, weather reporter guys!
