How much would you pay for a Cubs-Cardinals ticket?

I had a chance to see the Cubs in St. Louis this weekend, but turned it down. The tickets were about $150 each and that was a bit rich for my blood.

I tend to get a bit agitated when I’m in someone else’s ballpark. In Wrigley,  surrounded by die-hard Cub fans, I can take the good with the bad. In St. Louis, I don’t know if I could handle adversity and I’d be reluctant to cheer too loudly for fear of upsetting the hometown fans.

Besides, I think my wife would rather I spend that money as a down payment on a new stove.
