On Saturday, I’ll let Cardinals OF Skip Schumaker get career stolen base No. 7 in exchange for a Ted Lilly victory.

At least the Cubs aren’t going to go into St. Louis to face a team brimming with confidence, not after the Redbirds took an 11-1 beatdown from the Mets on Thursday.
Carlos Zambrano is scheduled to return from the disabled list to make the start for the Cubs. He will be opposed by Mr. Looper, who used to sell candy and bird seed on “Sesame Street.”
