A key bounce back win

I didn’t get to see any of the Cubs-Cardinals series because I was on the road all weekend. I did get to listen on the radio. Friday I got to hear the Cardinals announcers, who must be in the dictionary under the header “homers.”
On Saturday I heard All-Star Kerry Wood blow a two-run lead. Ouch.
The difference between good teams and so-so-teams is how they bounce back from tough losses. The Cubs 7-1 win Sunday showed that they are a good team.
The Brewers are now in second place by a percentage point. Now that they’ve made the deal for C.C., the Cubs need to avoid the temptation to look over their shoulders.
The Brewers will have quite the 1-2 punch with Ben Sheets (if he stays healthy) and Sabathia. They’ll be tough to beat in short series.
