We’re always looking to be on the cusp, nay, the cutting edge here at C-Notes, and this post is no exception. Looking to increase visits to our corner here in the rrstar.com world, I’m going to add Poles to the discussion.
Clearly the greatest pitcher from Poland in Cubs, nay, Major League Baseball history is Moe Drabowsky.
Moe signed with the Cubs in 1956, and the following season went 13-15, a mark that trailed only Dick Drott’s 15-11 on the Cubs (they weren’t real good back then, you may have heard.) Drabowsky, a legendary prankster, had 11 wins and 11 saves for the 1969 expansion Kansas City Royals.
Excuse me, this update is coming in … we’re going to introduce polls. Of course. That makes more sense.
And we’ll get those polls to you just as soon as I take that refresher course on homonyms.
