Edmonds was fifth in my lineup

August 8th, 2008 at 07:37pm Wally Haas

I would have had Jim Edmonds bat behind Aramis Ramirez and move Kosuke Fukudome down to seventh if I had written the lineup card today. Edmonds has been hot (.326 in his last 15 games) and Fukudome has yet to regain his early season form (average down to .273).

Funny how you don’t hear folks clamoring to have Fukudome lead off or bat second any more. The one-two punch of Alfonso Soriano and Ryan Theriot is working just fine, thanks.
