One hot division

The National League Central is the strongest division in the league. The fourth-place Houston Astros would be in first place if they played in the Western division. The Cubs, Brewers and Astros are all 8-2 in their last 10 games.
The strength of division foes should keep the Cubs sharp as they roll toward the playoffs.
The Brewers have looked nearly unbeatable since the fight between Prince Fielder and Manny Parra. Dissension worked for the Oakland A’s in the ’70s and might work for the Brewers this year.
Expect the Brewers to make the postseason either as division champs if the Cubs falter or as the wild-card team.
