Classic Cubs Carmen Fanzone (1971-74) and Pete LaCock (1975-76) wore this before the throw-in in the Bowa-DeJesus trade.
Coming back like that against a quality team … very nice.

Seems like nine months

But it’s only nine games ago that the Cubs last played an opponent which had a winning record (Aug. 17, a 9-2 victory over the Marlins in Florida). The Phillies are fighting with the aforementioned Marlins and unmentionable (for Ron Santo) New York Mets for the NL East title.
