I agree with you, Jason. Cheap shots against Hawk Harrelson are uncalled for, especially since Sun-Times Sox writer Joe Cowley is much more deserving of dissing.

Somebody's gotta buy the blue flags, and a smart businessman would guess Bridgeport is an ideal place to sell those banners.

But that's in the past. The Cubs return to NL action against the struggling Giants, and Bridgeport faces AL Central rival Cleveland.

How typical. White Sox fans are more concerned about the Cubs losing than they are about their own team winning.

the cubs might be good now but as we have learned from the past, o i don't know 100 years, they WILL lose their lead in the NL central. and if they do make the playoffs the cubs fans will just be upset once again when they get swept in the first round like last time..can you say WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR ?

The Cubs also don't have anyone on their coaching staff teaching the spitter to their hurlers.

To be honest, I'd rather have overkill on approaching weather than be surprised that Charles Street has decided to imitate Venice again.

I think he could have been smart enough to break in during the bottom of the inning when the Dodgers were batting. That alone would have appeased me. I also do not think he had anything new to say, at least to warrant breaking in every 10 minutes. He also looked like a fool when the storm blew through Rockford with nothing too much more than wind. If he had anything that was dangerous, maybe then. I think we were just looking at a weekend meteorologist trying to make it like he was still prime time.
