“Weird Al” Yankovic, king of pop culture parody, returns to Rockford, this time as part of the prefestival opening Thursday, Sept. 2, of On the Waterfront. But his show will be at the Coronado Performing Arts Center, and the same night that country crooner Dierks Bentley performs at Davis Park.
Tickets go on sale at noon Wednesday for “Weird Al.” They cost $65 for the front row, $35 for floor seats and $30 for balcony seats. Get them at onthewaterfront.com, 815-968-0595 or the Coronado box office at 314 N. Main St.
