Emily Bear, who is now 9 years old and has been playing piano pieces she composes the past three years on TV and in places like the White House, will make her Carnegie Hall debut Dec. 2.
The New York City venue is one of the most prestigious in the world for classical and popular music.
Several of Emily’s original songs will be performed by Emily with a 100-piece orchestra, soloists and a 200-person choir.
The concert is a benefit for elderly care.

I wish Jackie Evancho could join Emily Bear at Carnegie Hall . It would be a dream come true to watch two special angels peforming on the same stage. I love Jackie and Emily so much. They have amazing talent and beauty. God bless you and your family…
I too wish Jackie Evancho was still going to Carnegie Hall. When I saw Emily I thought it would be great seeing these 2 there! I posted a news broadcast about Emily on Jackie\’s facebook site saying I had found a pianist for her. I did a repost of it too as I would like Jackie to see Emily cause they seem to be a lot alike.
I am another fan of both Emily and Jackie. Isn’t the world blessed to have such talented people rising up among us? I would say talented young people, but they are young in age only. Their ability is unmatched by almost all at any age.
