Christina Sawyer, a senior at Rockford Christian High School, won first place int he commercial/popular category of the Illinois Music Educators Assocation All-State Composition Contest. Her composition is entitled, “Down.” She and other winners will be recognized Jan. 26 in Peoria by the educators group.
