Happy Monday! Kick off your workweek (assuming you’re on a traditional work schedule) with some pictures of 20somethings acting like kids during the Warrior Dash.
Thanks again to Jimmy Moore for taking/providing these beautiful shots, and also for guarding the bag of clean clothes.
Zach, Chelsea, Kate and I before the race. None of us would be this clean again for several hours and several showers.
We’re ready to take off, somewhere in this mass of folks. I believe Zach said there were something like 500 people per wave, each wave taking off on the half-hour.
An idea of the obstacles we encountered. My dad pointed out that when my grandpa, a Marine, landed at Iwo Jima during World War II, he had to descend something similar from the main boat into the landing craft, while wearing all his gear. Thanks again, veterans.
Kate, me, Zach and Chelsea. True warriors don’t smile, apparently – they roar.
