Walking into the tea house was like going back in time.I feel very blessed I was able togo for tea before the tea house is closed.Thank You to all the lovely ladies who made us feel so welcome.I am sadden by there future closing but can understand why the owner wants to finally "Live" in her house.. I enjoyed meeting both of you and your friend there and I loved the article that you wrote about the tea house. I am very saddened that they will be closing but hope that the owners will be happy living there. I will certainly be taking my daughter there before they close since she has been asking if she could go with me every time I have gone. It avoided the wrecking ball ovedr the years and in 2002 local realtor Cleo Bankord obtained a Special Use Perrmit to operate a "tourist establishment" -- namely the tea house, gift shop, antiques display, etc. Good piece ladies. It is such a wonderful place for a girls day out. It's also a wonderful location for a wedding shower, baby shower, or birthday party for the young and young at heart.
