my laundry basket is dying …

… after a good 10 or 15 years. when the cracks make it unusable, i’ll have to find a nonplastic alternative. maybe a wicker one like my daughter has. found this one on amazon.
i have tried to be more eco-smart about doing laundry. i make sure i have full loads, always wash in cold (except sheets… allergy problems!) and buy the condensed versions of tide.
my drycleaning is a whole other story. now that i’m a mom, i don’t iron. it’s my time-saving choice. but at least i’ve been buying the washable wool suits from the limited. they are awesome.

Just as an observation, the wicker basket is described on the amazon website as having a powder coated wire frame. This powder coating is likey to be based on a polymeric (plastic) material. Ooops.
