my youngest daughter barely eats. chocolate milk alone keeps her alive. but one thing she does eat is kraft cheese slices, which come in plastic wrap. above she was running away from me with cheese in hand.
i hate cheese, so the thought of buying a cheese block and cutting it makes me feel a little sick to my stomach.

i’d rather see if i can recycle the wrappers with plastic bags than go the other route.

Jen….what a great idea with 1 week without plastics and the recycle feature–I think Germany started recycling plastics about 10 YEARS ago(also glass, newspaper, tin cans, compost, etc. etc.). Think if more Americans were aware of their environment and what they can do to better it things might be a bit better in the USA! I’ve been in Germany almost 30 years and you hardly ever see SHOPPERS without their wicker or cloth baskets here. Have a great weekend and don’t get discouraged…..you CAN do it! Tante B

You mentioned your daughter likes Kraft cheese slices. If you bought the Kraft real cheese slices, they are not individually wrapped and it’s actually healthier for her. You’d be helping the environment without each piece wrapped individually, but also a better product will go in her little tummy :-)
