Can Rockford be like this Rocky Mountain city?

We’re looking to grow green jobs. As I read in Newsweek, Denver appears to be succeeding. There’s no great summary graph, so you’ll just have to read why. This was as close as I could come:
Talk from Washington suggests that investments in renewable energy, infrastructure, and public transit may be a partial solution to our economic woes. For the past several years, the Denver region has been staging a trial run of this strategy, one that shows both its promise and perhaps its limits.

Pretty soon the Democrats in Colorado will make that state like Illinois. When the subsidies and tax credits are revoked one day, then “green” will have to stand on its own pedestal while Texas goes on creating half of the jobs in the nation, each year. We have a lot to learn from them, not the readership of Newsweek.
