The Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference is scheduled for March 10th from 9 am until 5 pm in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin(just across the state line in SW Wisconsin). The conference offers five, hour-long sessions with up to seven topic choices per session. Attendees will hear about production of maple syrup, mushrooms, biomass, and ginseng; can learn about estate planning, chain saw safety, prescribed burning, and forest management; and can get updates on timber markets, wolf populations, and tree diseases. Registration costs $40 per individual and includes lunch. Registration goes up to $50 after February 18th.
