Welcome to the April Raw Energy Newsletter

First, I am changing my email address. My past email address is myrawenergy@yahoo.com. Unfortunately, I have experienced some hacking issues with Yahoo and evidently this is an increasing issue with Yahoo mail. It has come to my attention, Gmail is a more secure email address. I will be phasing out my current address and switching to my new email address rawfood.rawenergy@gmail.com

EXCITING NEWS ~ or at least I think so! SAVE the DATE! I have the opportunity to bring Cherie Soria HERE to Rockford/Belvidere on August 14th – but I need your help to do that!

I had the pleasure of attending Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, (a raw food culinary institute), in 2008 and personally meeting with Cherie Soria individually and partaking in her classes, as Cherie the instructor as well as other fine raw food culinary chefs and her staff! Cherie Soria is an amazing person and if memory serves me correctly, Cherie is between the age 65 and 70, but many would not guess it with her energy, enthusiasm, skin and figure!

Cherie Soria and her husband Dan Laderman will offer a two hour presentation. This presentation will be a combination of Cherie Soria and Dan Laderman speaking which may include, (but not limited to), her background, the benefits of a raw food diet, how to travel while practicing a raw food diet, tips on creating your own raw food dishes, flavor balancing, and a food demo, (or demos). More details and flyers to come regarding presentation.

Please find below the biography of Cherie Soria:

Cherie Soria is the founder and director of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, and has been teaching the fine art of gourmet raw living foods to individuals, chefs, and instructors for well over 15 years and vegetarian culinary arts for more than 35 years. Cherie has personally trained many of the world’s top raw food chefs and instructors and is often referred to as the mother of gourmet raw vegan cuisine.
Cherie and her husband, Dan Ladermann, own and operate several raw food businesses besides the culinary school, including a raw vegan café, a retail store providing gifts for chefs and products for healthful living, and a historic eco-friendly inn, all located on the beautiful Mendocino coast of northern California. They also host the Vibrant Living Expo, a raw food and healthy lifestyle conference at the Living Light Center each August. Cherie and Dan have received numerous awards and accolades for Living Light International, which is recognized as one of the leading raw food businesses in the world.

As I said, I need your help to bring Cherie here on August 14th. This event is $30 per person and seating may be limited. I plan to have the event in the same location as I have had my raw food classes, in Rockford/Belvidere, (or a close by venue if registration is beyond my capacity). We need 40 people in order to make this event possible, early registration and payment is needed to reserve and secure the date. This opportunity to have Cherie Soria come to Rockford/Belvidere will not remain available without early registration and payment to secure the date. I would like to request registration and payment by April 30th. Registration and payment will remain open up to August 1st, however unless I am able to secure the date of August 14th with early registration and payment by April 30th, this opportunity to bring Cherie Soria here, may not be possible. Please share this event and pass it along, encourage and gather your friends and family! Let’s make this a reality and have an AMAZING August 14th. The event is planned for 6:30pm on August 14th. Don’t hesitate, register and sign up now! Email rawfood.rawenergy@gmail.com or call 815.543.1207. (Checks will not be cashed until and/or unless 40 people register by April 30th).
